We Built a Wall, Now It’s Time to Build Our First Ministry Center!
What is the Infant Rescue Center?
The Infant Rescue Center (IRC) will be an expansion of the current infants in distress program, adding the capacity to treat sick and premature infants in the infirmary, host large groups for milk distributions, train extended families and foster families, and house orphans or abandoned children while they await placement.
THE FIVE PURPOSES
Around Which The New Infant in Distress Center Has Been Designed
WELCOME – entry point for patients into the center and houses administrative spaces.
HEAL – primary spaces for healthcare administration, including inpatient care and a neo-natal unit.
SUSTAIN – dormitory for orphaned and abandoned infants who are waiting for placement within their extended or foster families.
EQUIP – isolated and assisted living for infants, mothers, caregivers, and family members where they receive training and observation in a natural and healing environment before re-integration into the village.
GATHER – exterior spaces for communal gathering, play, individual recluse, and distribution of goods.
Before we ever built the wall, we dedicated this property to God in prayer, asking Him to use it to become a place of hope and life, to save lives, to be a refuge. What you are contributing to here is going to do just that. Thank you!
